Saracens are delighted to announce our next Masterclass Coaching courses are on sale for the February Half Term and Easter Holidays. These course offer a great opportunity for young players from YOUR CLUB to take part in an intensive coaching course in their school holidays. In addition to improving standards of core skills and game understanding, players will also have the opportunity to be coaches by Saracens' professional players such as Richard Hill, Kyran Bracken, Kobus Visage, Taine Randell, Hugh Vyvyan and others. In order for as many young players to know about these forthcoming courses it would be greatly appreciated if you could forward the email below to your young players within the club. Whilst the squad are obviously focusing on this weekend’s all-important Heineken Cup match in Biarritz, the team behind-the-scenes have turned their attention to the club’s next home game, against Bath on 12th February. With the match falling just two days before Valentine’s Day, it provides a fantastic alternative to the usual flowers, chocolates and posh dinners! Ladies can keen their men happy by indulging their passion for rugby, and in what other circumstances would a husband be happy for his wife to ogle 30 fit men in shorts?! And for those single people out there, a Sunday afternoon of top-flight sport could be just the place to meet your perfect match! |

Bonus points are crucial - admit coaches... Saracens picked up a losing bonus point at Welford Road on Monday as Leicester Tigers ran our 34-27 winners in the Guinness Premiership clash. After a Ben Johnston try had given Saracens an early lead, the boot of Andy Goode and tries from Darren Morris and Tom Varndell had looked to have taken the home side clear. But a late try from Tevita Vaikona and 17 points from Glen Jackson kept the Men In Black in the hunt with a dogged performance to take a point from the game.. |

Vyvyan admits mistakes cost the game... Saracens' captain Hugh Vyvyan knows a win next weekend is vital after Friday night's defeat to Ulster if the Men In Black are to have a chance of progressing to the last eight of the competition. Vyvyan said: “We've got to look at ourselves, but if we can have a good training week, put a few things right then there's no reason not to put in a good performance next week. Ultimately it's up to us. We let ourselves down and Ulster played well so all credit to them, they deserved to win on the day. |

24th November 2005 - Last Match Review - Newcastle Falcons Ford still looking for improvement... Saracens secured a 27-18 victory over Newcastle Falcons at Vicarage Road on Sunday and after reviewing the video of the game, Head Coach Mike Ford was pleased that the side continued its unbeaten run, but admitted there were still areas in which to improve. |
