Saracens have appointed Richard Graham as backs/skills coach from the start of next season. Graham will join up with the Vicarage Road club when pre-season begins in June and will form part of an enlarged coaching team headed up by Director of Rugby Alan Gaffney.
The 33-year-old joins from Bath where he has been backs coach for the past four seasons after a career as a player with the Queensland Reds, Australia A and as a 7s specialist with the national side. Saracens Director of Rugby Alan Gaffney said: "Richard has a good rugby background having come through the system in Australia with Queensland and the national Sevens side. He's set his sights out to be a professional coach and he is very talented and we're pleased he is joining us from next season. "He's been at Bath for the past four seasons having originally arrived as a backs coach but in that time his role has been expanded and he has impressed. He's still young and has a good future ahead of him in coaching. He's knowledgeable and has a good grasp of the game so his appointment is a huge positive for Saracens."
