Annual General Meeting

To be held at Watford Rugby Club, Knutsford Playing fields,
Radlett Road, Watford, Herts. WD24 4LH.

The 2012-2013 season Annual General Meeting of Watford Rugby Club will be held on Thursday 24th May 2012 in the Club house, arrive 1900 for 1930 start.

AGM Agenda

1. Meeting Called to Order
2. Apologies for Absence (submitted before the meeting to the Secretary).
3. Annual reports of the WRFC Executive Committee and written reports as received from Officers for the Club. All current Exec members and Officers of the club are to send their written reports to Honorary Secretary.
4. Any Questions from membership on reports made.
5. Proposed Amendments to Club Rules and Constitution followed by vote to adopt.
6. Elections of the Committee to serve until the next AGM in Apr/May 2013.

Craig Reilly Memorial Game

This year Craigs memorial game will be on Sunday 6th May. It will be a 12.30pm meet for a 2pm ko. Please put this date in your diary now and let anyone who knew Craig and the family that doesn’t have access to this or facebook know. Thank you.

WELL DONE TO THE TOP POINTS SCORERS OF 2011/2012…..

Afternoon all.

With the season nearly over I would just like to thank every single person that wore the Watford jersey this season and help contribute to the impressive 1217 points scored across both teams. Rugby is a TEAM game and its with thanks to the team that the top points scorers are on this list. The whole senior squad should be very proud of the points tally achieved but I would like to say a big well done to the outstanding achievement from this seasons top points scorers.

In 4th place I want to mention Martin Lee’s terrific 11 trys, making him our top try scoring forward this season and lets not forget he missed at least half the season through injury.

The top 3 were so very close -

In 3rd place is Richard Yates who scored 115 points. That’s 23 trys, making Yatesy the clubs top try scorer by a mile and just might be a club record.

2nd place went to last years top points scorer, Tom McGee with 117 points. McGee proving once again how valuable he is to the squad with the boot and a few cheeky trys too.

In 1st place, Scott Menzies with a impressive 120 points. Scott proved deadly in attack and with the boot to score many point across both teams this season. Really well done Scott.

Well done lads for your outstanding efforts this season and hope you all better your scores in 2012 - 2013.

Horse racing evening, Friday 30th, 7.30pm at WRFC. All players (seniors, minis, juniors) and family and friends welcome. £ 5 entry, with a few nibbles included. Bets are 50p each.

Please make your best efforts to attend. All funds raised go to the club.
