Hello Gents,

Following the success of the WRFC outing to Earls Court Beer Festival (success being measured in lack of memory, which we have little of) it’s high time we took advantage of the plethora of fine ale houses within this once roman stronghold.

On the 25th September the 1st team have a home league game against Thamesians, 2nds away to Hemel. Two good and winnable games is the perfect setup to a night of cultural indulgence, with light refreshment.

Being the fine distinguished gentleman that we are, we will of course distinguish ourselves from others through the medium of attire. Shirts and club tie WILL be worn by ALL. Anyone flouting this rule shall incur fineage (returned to the cultural pot of beverage investment)

All players, supporters, friends and family (over 18/old enough to sneak in) are welcome.

Note: finage still applies to friends and family

Please speak to me if interested. If we have enough people i may be able to speak to a couple of the pubs about them laying on some free food.

Kind Cultural Regards,

Sailor.

Seeing as its cultural, count me in.

If it wasn’t I would have to seriously consider my attendance.

week after is the st albans beer festival which some of us are definitely going to straight from the club (in shirt and tie) as they want to take some pictures of fine young rugby gents.
