Poker Night / Tournament
« on: February 02, 2006, 04:44:24 PM »

Seeing as the last poker night we planned washed out... Should we try and arrange another? Maybe ofter one of the six nations internationals or something?Huh

Just a thought if we can it might throw some extra money behind the bar!!!

I've got no idea how to play poker. If someone would like to teach me I'll have a go!

the basics are easy... but if you go to www.pokerroom.com, they have a basic poker school and if you sign up you can play with fake money, starting on $1000. Loads of people play andit is a good way to learn!!! And even if you loose the free $1000 you can refill your account twice a day to $1000 again!!!

I'll show you Trev.
It's limitted poker so you can only lose so much.

2 Key rules to Watford Poker

1) Don't let Colin win
2) Don't trust anything I tell you unless involes Colin not winning.

I'm in, although i am likely to lose all my money in the first hand!  Skinny you are a dirty player and i'll be watching you very closely.  If Collin wins I say we break his other leg! Grin

I've got a poker face like a piece of plywood and could bluff my way into the Wasp's team that played the second half, even though i'm not a maori...

Might as well hand it over now lads

we need to find out a night when the club is empty... or available to arrange this. And i assume most of you will want to drink, so it should be after the game rather than a Friday night and before hand???
