Sharpy Or anyone who is in control of the clubs money?!?!!?

I've been contacted by RAM Rugby about a discounted deal for BALLS

10 Ram Raider Match Balls – Choice of 4 Colours.
25 Ram Gripper Training Balls – Choice of 3 Colours.
Free printing of School or Club logo on every ball.
All for £225, a saving of £105 compared to prices
in the new 2006/7 RAM Rugby catalogue.

Is there a need for them in the SENIOR section Or the MMJY
Let me know ASAP as the order needs to be put in by the end of JUNE

Sounds a good deal but we still have 2 balls with no grip that only half inflate from the 70's so don't see why we should waste our money on flashey things like balls.

Sorry to put a dampener on the ball thing, we are a social club, not a playing club, the cash is tied up at the brewery !!!!

Sounds like a good deal to me Traxon!!  I can't speak for everyone but I'd be happy to chuck in a fiver towards them.

Sure if say one training session everyone gave a couple of quid we could get at least some of the cash with the club perhaps paying the rest??

Traksuit, I'll have a look at our finances tomorrow, but with a few subtle changes in the RFU sponsorhip deal this year, we should be able to afford the £225.  I'll let you know tomorrow (ish) obviously after running it past the exec !!!  Is that a better answer than beer Huh

Could be an idea to get players to "sponsor" a ball and get their name put on it along with the club name/logo? Undecided
