personally i would not mind anything that involves a fair bit of running around... i need to get my fitness up. Well just any fitness would do!!!
But i get the feeling softball might not involve much running!!! But football will, touch will... what other ideas do people have...
we should get some retro games going!!!
Bulldog Dodgeball
hmmm what else!!!

Neil - Dodgeball sounds fun, but I think we might be easy targets! However, I think football would be a good idea as it is different to what we're used to and also a laugh. Maybe do half touch, half footie? We'll have to see what our noble coach and captain say!

in theory anything like touch will improve handling, and we can start to run moves etc... we can also do three man lineouts so you forwards and hookers can practise. it allows you to do basic lineout moves like taking the ball forward, leaning back and then looping one over top and taking a few steps back before jumping. Then, because three players are tied up, it give more space for the backs to run moves...
I think thats how Richmond did some of their pre-season basic training...
But who knows, just an idea!!!

I've told you all before, we are going to play league all summer! Actually lets see what sort of no's we get down tonight and take it from there. I've not got any club keys anymore (they don't trust me with them!!!) so a ball (rugby shaped) would be quite useful. Jonny big potatos Sharpey will hopefully be opening up the changing rooms when he arrives.
