Does anyone work for a company tha twould be interested in sponsoring WRFC.
Or does anyone have any ideas about how we as a club can generate sponsorship / funds within the club??

Pardon the pun, but it feels like 'old ground new person.' First and foremost this sponsorship we are after has Waddy our main sponsor been informed what we are doing and is he happy for us to seek other sponsors!!! and vise versa are other sponsors happy we already have a main sponsorof our shirts...
Once we have that finalised then you can move on.....

Sharpey told me on tuesday that it's all ok. I think if we put our heads together and offer them a package (Shirts, Shorts, Socks, Website, Advertising space, etc), we might have more success. Any ideas?  |

Watford Rugby Club If we are to get this of the ground then we all need to put something into the mix as it were!! I know it's been done before but we all need to make an effort. It's If the STASH thing is gonn work properly then we all need to help?!?!?!? Cheers Gents |

Sponsorship doesn't mean £1000's of pounds.
If we can get a few smaller amounts from a few people / business, then we'll have money coming in.
Then we can build from there.

Then we have a focus and a direction on how to approach it.

Does anyone have any contacts they could talk to, favours to pull in or ideas???
Any help would be greatly recieved.
Talk to people when you are at work buying stock etc. try to get people interested.

Jamie, we have a large ind est next to us and we have land on the main roads passing this estate. If we are serious we need to canvas the businesses with letter drops with what we can offer and how much they have to pay. whether its a sponsors board or them sponsoring bits of kit. But they do need to be made aware we already have a main sponsor. if your about tomorrow i'll run through how other teams have set this up. |
