We need to make sure we think rugby!!
We all collectively need to make training work we need to work on things that have been highlighted from saturdays game.

Defence:-  We are hustling well and putting pressure on the oppo. and all we need is a little bit more structure and organisation then we would have a very strong defence.

Broken play:- We have a number of good runners with the ball in hand, we have some very good decision makers but we need to improve our support running and lines of attack.

Kicking:- Similar to the defence, good hustle, good pressure, but we need to do it together.

Comms is king!!!!

Lets all train and train well, we need 100% effort and 100% discipline on the training pitch then we can take it onto the pitch come match day.

Here are the results from the games played while we had a rest.  Again really just showing what an open league this is.

That draw at Streets is looking a good result, whilst Grammerians lost to Habs who we put to the sword away from home.  Whilst Saracens beating Old Millhillians opens it up again.

Hendon 0 - 28 Old Streetonians
Old Grammarians 27 - 31 Old Haberdashers
Old Tottonians 65 - 0 Chess Valley
Saracens Amateurs 36 - 18 Old Millhillians

Tottonians will be a big physical game from what I remember playing them last season.  Although from memory we had a rag tag side that day and ran them very close, Skinny got a couple of trys!!   Any of you boys remember the beast of a forward called Bubba??

Well the results have worked in our favour with no team streaking away and four teams including us sandwiched on 5 or 6 points.

Bumped into player from CHESS on sunday.

The reason they lost so heavily to Old Toots was that they had to send most of their 2nd team away to play as most of their 1st got freebees on Friday to see England at Twickers.

That is why they had to call of their 2nd team game.

Doesn't sound as if Chess are really taking things that seriously this year does it? Huh As has been said previously gents we really have now got to start performing, this is going to be a close league so lets all get together and get the buzz back that we had last year. Lets see everybody at training this week and if you can't attend let either Pete or myself know or leave a message here. Grin
