18th March 2007 - RESULTS
« on: March 18, 2007, 01:18:49 PM »

With the loss at the weekend, Millhillians put themselves in line for a thrilling showdown with Old Streets in their final game of the season.

We still have two to play and need something to be sure of safety.  However in our favour is Old Grams and Old Totts have to play each other in the final day of the season.

Old Grams need a win against Old Totts which represents their last game plus need to catch up on the points difference.

Old Totts need slightly more however have two games, a win and a draw would bring them level but there is a massive points difference.  To rise above us they need two wins but this would come at the expense of Old Grams sending them down!

So it looks like we have done enough for this season to stay up.  Now its a case on getting a few more wins on the board to give the season a bit more of an air of respectability!!

Good job cox man!  Tongue

It was a sad loss indeed and I started the day with 100% belief we were going to smash them.

I know im a newbie and don't wish to put any size 10's in it, but lets keep our cool team.  The people that are telling us to keep on the good side of the ref are sometimes the peeps loosing their cool, with the team as well.  We should try stay positive, point out the negatives constructively and get on with it.

Zim well done for saying your what you think, you read my mind but you are very diplomatic.

How about lets all shut the f*** up and take it! Talk through the Captain, the pack leader or the back leader stop gobbing off when there is nothing to say why distract your teams focus.

Everytime you bitch you take something away from your own teams Mojo and add show weakness to the other team. We should point the frustration at the other 15 guys on the field (the other team).

Yeah, I could not agree more strongly with some of views on the ref, and I don't blame for Pats for going off on one, lucky it was female ref.

I've been number crunching?!!?

If it goes to form then we'll be in a good position to stay up?!?!

As coxy says we need to give ourselves a boost and give WRFC some respectability.
