Comrades, I know a lot of you have been pestering me for the fix.list as you are busting to don your whites. I can now reveal our first game of the season. It is on Wed. 8th Aug 6.pm. k.o. away to Kimpton X1 at Langlebury CC. I am in the process of picking the team now - but the team so far - Kiely S, Kiely A, Kiely T, Traxsuit J how about a few of the chaps from the veldt showing what they are made of?
Names to me asap - plenty of fans and cheerleaders welcome.
I hear the twins are a bit handy - so if you are out there let me know

Cricket is not my game.
I make a good scorer but can dabble at 9,10 or 11 if need be.

I'll play! Used to play a bit but had a strange return to the game last year. 1st ball for 4, second ball caught!
First attempt at bowling went about 2 yrds! 1 over, 6 wides, 2 runs and 1 wicket!
Always up for a laugh!

The teams looking good - I'll pop down to training and give you all an update - remember k.o. is at 6 no later due to fading light.
I presume no one has got any cricket "whites" so perhaps we should play in WRFC kit!

I'd love to play, but I'm afraid I wouldn't be quite as nippy as my usual self due to my knee physio therapy. (however I've been jogging again for 2 weeks so I should be fine) Still though, its a month away so if you want me I'd love to smack some willow. (is that right?)
Please let me know as I wont be training for some time.

Wow this cricket match is getting more popular than I imagined. We now have 13 players, Creedy has just been included, well actually 14 cos George wants to play as well.
I'll see you all at the leaving bash this Saturday. If anyone has any decent cricket kit please bring it down rather than the tat I brought down last night.

Remember all you cricketers 8th August at Langlebury Cricket Club. Kick off is at 6pm Try and get there as early as possible as it will be dark by 8.30pm If you have not got transport Mr Thomas Kiely has got spaces so please contact him asap on this website. Looking forward to it Sailor, I'm cool to drive but have no clue where the ruddy place is!! Any chance you can swing by my place and I can follow you?
Also, I'm definitely good to play as my physio says running in a straight line is fine, contact rugby is still a month or two away though, and do we need whites or anything, because I don't have a morsel of cricketing gear within a mile of my house.
