2nd Team Merit Laague Cup Draw
« on: March 02, 2008, 07:12:44 PM »

Gents

I know this competition is close to our hearts - we have been loosing finalists for the last two season.

This years draw has now been made.

We have avoided the preliminary round and go straight into the quarter finals on 12 April with a Home fixture against Old Ashmolian 3rds.  If we were to win that we would have semi-final home fixture against the winners of Ruslip 3rds or Datchworth 4th, if we were to loose the quarter final then we would go into the plate semi-final playing the looser of Ruslip 3rd or Datchworth 4ths, the semi-finals are due to be played on 19th April with the resulting finals on 26th April.  Two psatives that irrespective of the results we will have two HOME fixtures in this competition.

Fantastic, can't bloody wait.  Love the merit cup, it has hurt me in the past (quite badly), but you've gotta love a cup final day out.  Lets make it 3 cup finals in a row!!  And maybe even win it this time!!!
