Hey Guys...
I am thinking of setting up a little shop to sell odd bits of clothing to Watford players... The company that made me the offer does not do rugby gear, but more like T Shirts, and random merchandise like mouse mats, mugs, beer bottle tshirts, etc?
Effectively all the artwork that goes on them can be created by any of us and I can upload them to the shop? Even if you guys have the ideas I am willing to try and create it for you.
Example prices will be ?10 - ?15 for a single side printed t shirt, and ?4 for delivery. It takes 2 ? 7 days for delivery, and the minimum order is 1 item. The supplying company provide a cost, and we just add a profit margin to it (as much or little as we like). Profits will go to the club.
Before I spend all my time producing the shop and getting some designs up there? Is anyone actually interested, or is it likely to flop and be a waste of time, effort, and money?
Cheers, N

Hi mate, Yes I would say it's a good idea to have a shop but this particular one would probably flop (only my own opinion), I feel it would do better if it was rugby gear as we are all always looking for new kit and bags, accessories etc.
What do you think?

ideally grugby gear would be great... but i do not know anyone in the club that can afford to put the investment into buying all the stock...etc... Thats a huge amount of money...
The advantage of this one is the quick turn around in custom artwork gear and a thrid party company holds the stock and therefore there is no cash outlay.
But this is why i asked, as there is no point spending time if people will not be interested.

Kick it i can!

Neil, would the stock being held be plain :?: If so then surley we could get the club badge and then anything else like a slogan put on it :?: That way it would still appear to be rugby orientated, we could all be wearing club gear and it be a win win all round :?:

yeah the idea is that i can get it printed with what ever you like... So there will be designs including the club logo, any slogans, messages or graphics you want.
It can go onto anything from t shirts, baseball caps, through to womens underwear (i have heard about your antics mandy!!!)
So therefore the base stock is plain in various colours and designs... But we can get anything printed and still have a 2 - 7 day turnaround

Right... I have been approached by a company which sells: T shirts, many different styles - for men, women and children Womens Tops Jackets, Hoodies, jumpers Extras, such as Teddies wearing printed t shirts, hats, mouse mats, mugs, etc We can get anything we want printed on them, from the club logo, slogan, messages, photo's. The idea will be that the messages and clothes are club based, or when worn will advertise the club. Do you need to see pictures to see what the t shirts, mouse mats and mugs look like?

Gottcha,
Great idea, I deal with these type of promotional people all the time, also there is the guy from the minis responsible for Club stuff.

The only disadvantage i can see is that they are european based... not a major problem...
But the fact that they hold stock is great for costs.
Who does this for the minis? And who do they use and pa for it all to distribute etc...
