Back next week?
« on: September 23, 2008, 01:49:38 PM »

So, since I was last at training (about a month ago), I have:-

1. Torn my left (the good one) calf muscle. Apparently, that's much better than an(other) achilles rupture. And it's ok now, apparently.
2. Been on holiday  to France - where I thought I had knackered both legs after a fall on a mountain. They were fine after a few days rest.
3. Lost my auntie to cancer.
4. Had an ultrasound scan on both calves - even I could make out the mess that is my right achilles on the screen!!

Get the results from the scan next tuesday. And I'll either get the 'all clear', or, be told that the right leg (the one where I ruptured the achilles last Oct) needs corrective surgery to fix it.

Given that I still can't lift my weight on the right leg, and that running is so difficult, I'm actually hoping for the surgery!! And not many people hope to have surgery at Watford General.

Bazza

You've been through the wars.

But you'll bounce back - BOUNCE BACK BAZZA.

If you need surgery try to get referred to Stanmore Hospital - they are the best for Orthopedics

But then what sort of dic are you to get yourself in this state.
